Backyard Oaks has been in business for over 12 years. The card collection was conceived of and spent its formative years in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After an especially harsh winter, the cards petitioned the owner to relocate to a kinder, gentler climate. Why not California? The prospect of another snowy winter inspired the cards to contact QP on the QT to make a formal adoption request.

With all negotiations and warehouse addition complete, Quantity Postcards is thrilled to welcome the Backyard Oaks card collection to the family. The proud papa is happy to report that all of the cards from both QP and Backyard Oaks are getting along famously with their sister company, What a Dish!

Quantity Postcards is a publishing company that has been around for more than 20 years with one of the best collections of retro, Americana, and fun images.

The Quantity store had been a landmark in San Francisco for many years, but closed about three years ago. We still get calls from people all over the world looking for us and our images.

While we are now emphasizing sales to retail stores and development of new products, we still maintain a retail location in the Jack London Historical District in Oakland where you are welcome to visit, purchase, or just enjoy our many images and art gallery.
